Living with Gaia
Earth sheltering is the architectural practice of using earth against building walls for external thermal mass, to reduce heat loss, and to easily maintain a steady indoor air temperature. Earth sheltering is popular in modern times among advocates of passive solar and sustainable architecture, but has been around for nearly as long as humans have been constructing their own shelter. They are envisioned for meditation, photography, canopy research or wildlife watching, and can be finished with plumbing, electricity and insulation. Some are available for rental, and Do it Yourself kits are offered.
This is a selection of nightscape scenes I put together for entry into the 2012 David Malin Awards. The awards are for images of the night sky and landscape captured by Australian astrophotographers.
I am very happy and honoured to report that this video won 1st prize in the ‘animation’ category at the 2012 awards.
A number of interesting sky and space phenomena are included in the clip:
1. Comet Lovejoy.
2. Exploding Meteor and Train.
3. A Total Lunar eclipse from start to finish.
4. Multi coloured air glow in the upper atmosphere and ionosphere.
5. Lightning storms.

This is a preview of a larger project I’m working on documenting night scenes from the southern hemisphere – principally in Western Australia and Chile. Why there? Well I live in the former and work on and off in the latter, so that is where I spend most of my free time.
Also included at 1:19 is a panoramic timelapse using 5 cameras configured to capture a 360 x 195 degree view of the sky. The technique is still experimental, with some work still to do to eliminate processing artifacts. Aside from those issues, the output is a beautifully sharp 8k print.

In a surprise find, astronomers have discovered a planet possibly covered with oceans of magma “right around the corner.”
Even more exciting to scientists is its size: about the same as Mars’s, which would make the new world the closest known planet smaller than Earth.
Researchers using NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope essentially stumbled upon the new planet while studying a hot, Neptune-size planet called GJ 436b.
In their data, however, the team caught a faint signal of the new planet and named it UCF-1.01, after their institution, the University of Central Florida. Both worlds were detected by watching for regular dimming of their host star, indicating a planet transiting, or crossing in front of, the star.
“We have a sub-Earth-sized planet that’s slightly larger than Mars and essentially right around the corner, at least on a cosmic scale,” said Kevin Stevenson, a planetary scientist now at the University of Chicago, who led the study that revealed UCF-1.01.
“It’s one of the nearest transiting planets, it’s tiny, and it may not be alone.”

It’s a Small World After All
Large planets are easier to find, but they’re generally gas giants that don’t have a rocky surface or an atmosphere like Earth’s. So scientists are scanning the skies for smaller worlds, which should be more likely to support life as we know it.
NASA’s Kepler space observatory, in particular, is actively hunting for Earth-size planets around sunlike stars. In three years it has found more than 3,000 potential new worlds and confirmed dozens (find out how). But Kepler scans parts of the sky between 100 and 2,000 light-years away, giving it a blind spot closer to home.

Spitzer’s infrared detectors can “see” planets within a hundred light-years of Earth, but the telescope is normally used to fine-tune our knowledge of farther-out planets that scientists already know about.
“We weren’t looking for this planet, even though other researchers suspected it might be there,” Stevenson said.
UCF-1.01 is about 5,200 miles (8,400 kilometers) wide, making about a quarter the volume of Earth. And with a year that lasts only 1.4 Earth days, the new planet’s orbit takes UCF-1.01 searingly close to its star.
“The only thing separating the planet from the star is about seven times the distance between the Earth and the moon,” said Stevenson, who noted the probably lacks an atmosphere.
“It could be a thousand degrees Fahrenheit [540 degrees Celsius]. That may be hot enough to make an ocean of molten rock.”

Planetary Companion?
Until the mass of UCF-1.01 is known, the planet can’t be confirmed by official standards. “But we know it’s there,” Stevenson said.
And it may have hidden company. The larger planet, GJ 436b, has an oblong orbit likely caused by the gravitational pull of another planet or planets. And, Stevenson explained, the small planet alone doesn’t seem strong enough to explain the eccentric orbit of its big companion.
“At some point I’d like to go back and make new observations,” Stevenson said. “There could be a third planet there, called UCF-1.02.”

Thus underlying natural groupings of atoms, such as in forming molecules, cells, organs, leaves, planets, etc. is a singular packet of vibrations (the sine waves can be considered as large as each of these entities). The larger (higher-dimensional) sine waves control the overall geometry of the lower, smaller entities (and sine waves). These wholenesses on different dimensions are quantum states and constitute in effect a holographic structure.
From the holographic standpoint, we have the same configuration on different dimensional levels, but this is in inner-space at the ‘blueprint’ level and the outward appearance can manifest different probabilities. For example, with a more accurate understanding of the atom today, it doesn’t look the same as a solar system, or a galaxy doesn’t appear to have any resemblance to the DNA. However, underlying all these states are fractal holographic self-similar patterns.
It is now particularly relevant to introduce the fact that perception manifests fractal organisation. For example, if one gazes at a clump of grass at certain distances away, the blades of grass will appear to group, mentally, more than they actually do physically. The attention is of course jumping around maybe erratically through different degrees of focuses but any groupings which exist in the environment, such as a whole house, causes the perception to focus into gestalt states. The intensity of attention is uniform across such a gestalt vision—it is one whole (frequency). All that is perceived is always in gestalt format whether it is small or large.
The mind is flickering about from one focus, or state of wholeness of attention to another. These are quantum states. This applies to all experiences. There is actually no continuity along space and time but countless broken wholenesses, superimposing, of different magnitudes and frequencies. Why? What are these?
The same applies to the universe as the mind. Consciousness or basic awareness, whatever one wishes to call this, is beyond spacetime. If we begin with spacetime, this is not good physics. One must go beyond. That is, one must consider that consciousness primarily is not of space or time. However, if we consider a universe is a manifestation from a non-spacetime condition then the form it takes will mimic or reflect the nature of this non-spacetime condition. A spacetime interpretation of a non-spacetime condition would be one in which energy exists only as wholeness of discrete states and will be capable of manifesting any focus, from the micro to the macro, and furthermore any and all of these quantum states could be superimposed. An energy expression of a non-spacetime condition would be holographic. This is the multidimensional nature of consciousness. (See the article The Theory of One for more information.)
This is the condition of our universe in which in itself it possesses wholeness, and within it, all its parts, arranged hierarchically, also possess wholeness down to a particle. These are all fractal states (manifesting from an inherent fractal hierarchy—the nature of consciousness) and are a natural product of a creative mind not bound by space or time.

DNA ACTIVATION 2012 & THE TRANSITION TO 4TH DIMENSION
We have already entered the activation of dormant DNA in the human system that is happening now and will accelerate as we get closer to the shift to the less dense 4th dimension potentially near December 2012.
DNA is activated by frequencies being infused into our world by celestial influences. The DNA activation is part of our spiritual and physical evolution, which will be evidenced as a spiritual awakening or ascension of awareness. Everything in you physical world has a spiritual ethereal connection including the DNA codes that are the blueprint of your biological and energetic frequency structure. There is a biological code and various levels of energetic code that allow your soul form to be expressed within certain physical frequencies. That said, there are physical gene codes that will become active and a multitude of energetic codes that will be turned on to allow you to synchronize with the new dimension. With this activation comes a lighter physical body and increased mental and spiritual abilities and connections to other dimensions and vibrations.
When new DNA code is switched on some old and unnecessary code will become latent over time from lack of use. The new DNA will alter aspects of your brain as new synapses are created with the development of advancing skills. For example, a whole center of your brain will be turned on to deal with sensing and interpreting frequency and suddenly become quite active causing other areas to develop, such as the mental manipulation of vibration.
Abilities in individuals and soul groups will vary depending on particular DNA signatures that exist already and those connected to energy patterns from past soul developments. Therefore, some individuals or soul mate groups will excel in the vibrations of healing energy while others may be advanced in multidimensional viewing. Some will find they can manipulate matter grid structures with mental focus which is akin to what you would call telekinesis. Still others will be visionary seers who are able to grasp and assimilate holistic systems. There will be telepathic communicators and alien life form relations facilitators among whatever other specialties you can imagine. Capacities will be related to the DNA already in place, personal interest, previous lifetimes and soul inclinations. There is no doubt that these new found talents will lift burdens and challenge your souls in wonderful ways.
We are the evolutionary collective. Each strand of your DNA vibrates at a particular rate and as such can be activated with a synchronized frequency. Some of these frequencies can be created with audible sound while others cannot be heard by human ears in 3D because they are above the limited range of your present consciousness focus. These will be able to be heard in 4D. We and other beings are affecting your species DNA vibrations by infusing frequency modulations into your realm to begin the step by step process of the awakening of your potential. The cosmic influences radiating from other celestial bodies are also affecting your activation and will increase their sphere of influence as your solar system nears the central plane of the galaxy. The exertion of fine frequencies that will pulse through your universe at that time will be potent. The DNA that has been prepared for activation will entirely switch on and you will find yourselves seeing and feeling as if in a dream. Everything that many of you have been dealing with since just before the turn of the 21st century will all make sense as your fixation on your five sensing experience widens to include a multidimensional perspective.
The strands of your newly activated DNA will literally begin to vibrate and change your experience of reality. As we have said, everything will appear lighter in luminosity and weight. The new codes will vibrate with a whole new aspect of creation that was previously closed off to your comprehension. Your brain will quickly accommodate all the new input and fire up neurons that didn’t exist previously. Suddenly, your consciousness will see and sense beyond three dimensions of space and the rules of that world will no longer apply with the same limitations. The work you have done in your life to this date has been in preparation for allowing your encoded program to become active. All self reflection and pushing yourself to view the world beyond the awareness of your identity and searches within for deeper meaning will allow you to be open to the finer frequency vibrations and will attune you with what is coming.
For us this is a beautiful image of many strings of energy elevating octaves and singing a new tune with one another in the creation of a balanced symphony of change. This is a grand event. It is the culmination of efforts in many probable realities converging in a great evolutionary shift. The great shift is occurring in the physical DNA and the energetic codes of all synchronized life and matter in your universe. The wave of music will be heard through all the galaxies and pulse into the multi-verse.
THE TIME IS KNOW! Time to take control of our own spiritual growth, becoming stronger and more focused in our own abilities, it will become increasingly clear to each of us what our next step should be. It is quite possible to “be in the world and not be part of the world,” but only if we are willing to find out how our power has been taken from us and what we can easily do to begin to take it back and we as a collective spiritual group, i hope that you appreciate the magnitude of this awakening and will share in the excitement of its realization to others.
