Patriots against Tyranny

For over a century, a global treasonous oligarchy has held the American people and the American government hostage through their ownership of the Federal Reserve, which illegally prints money and manipulates the economy at will. By doing this, they have triggered depressions, systematically bankrupted America, and impoverished the middle class by maintaining control of all wealth. Their goal is to establish a New World Order by manipulating the masses with false terror and economic crises to enslave us to their political agenda. By brainwashing the masses, they were able to consolidate political, economic, and social power into a militaristic, imperialistic dictatorship. With the establishment of the Super Congress, the extension of the Patriot Act, and Obama’s ever-growing dictorial power, it would truly take a mindless slave to ignore what America is rapidly becoming. However, thanks to the exhaustive patriotic efforts of Ron Paul, Alex Jones, and others, an unprecedented truth movement has woken up millions of Americans and has globalists petrified

Israel Approves Detention Center For Migrants

Israel is to begin construction soon on a vast detention facility in the Negev desert to house the thousands of immigrants that cross illegally into Israel from Egypt every year.
Israel’s Cabinet voted Sunday to erect a massive detention facility to hold thousands of Africans who have slipped illegally through the porous southern border with Egypt, heating up a debate over how to handle their mounting numbers.
Critics accuse Israel of trying to turn away bona fide refugees and predicted the facility, which will be designed to hold up to 10,000 detainees, would become a squalid refugee camp. The Cabinet minister in charge of prisons said correctional authorities were ill-equipped to run the facility, but other officials said authorities cannot let thousands of economic migrants enter illegally each year, take jobs from Israelis and dilute the country’s Jewish character.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Cabinet before the vote that the proposed center is part of a multi-pronged approach that will include construction of a barrier along thinly patrolled areas of the 130-mile (220-kilometer) Israeli-Egyptian border, which began last week, and heavy fines on people who employ illegal workers. The barrier is also designed to keep out militants.
“We have to stop this growing influx that threatens Israelis’ jobs and changes the character of the state,” Netanyahu said.
Refugees would not be turned away. And the center, where the migrants would be housed, fed and receive medical care, would be a “humanitarian solution” for dealing with them until they are repatriated or sent to a third country, he said. The facility is to be completed in six months.
Until now, Israel has responded with a patchwork of stopgap measures.
According to government estimates, about 13,000 Africans will illegally enter Israel this year, joining more than 20,000 others who came between 2006 and 2009.
Without government intervention, the number could reach 30,000 a year by 2015, Cabinet secretary Tzvi Hauser told Israel Radio on Sunday. In addition to the African migrants, there are about 120,000 foreign workers with expired visas now in Israel, working illegally, the government and activists say.
Officials say most migrants come looking for work and have become absorbed into the country’s sizable illegal work force. They often earn extremely low wages and live in abominable conditions.
But human rights workers say most are not economic migrants. And they accuse officials of not reviewing applications for political asylum.
“They don’t want to,” said Sigal Rozen of the Hotline for Migrant Workers.
Rozen’s group and The Association for Civil Rights in Israel sent Netanyahu a letter last week calling the proposed center “a refugee camp, nothing more than a ghetto.”
Most migrants come from Eritrea, Sudan and other impoverished and conflict-ridden African countries. Human rights workers say the Africans appear to be racing to cross the border before Israel completes the border fence.
Plans to expel migrants have rankled some Israelis, who don’t want their country — founded in part as a sanctuary for Holocaust survivors — to turn away people from repressive, war-torn states.
Thousands of migrants have paid Egyptian smugglers, who reportedly demand as much as $10,000 to sneak them across the desert frontier. Hauser told Israel Radio that Israel does not have an agreement with Egypt to turn all the illegals back into Egypt’s Sinai peninsula, which borders Gaza.
Over the weekend, the Israel branch of Physicians for Human Rights accused Bedouin traffickers in Sinai of routinely raping migrants, subjecting them to electric shocks, burning them with iron bars and locking some in sweltering containers without food or water until they die. They based the allegations on a significant number of accounts of abused migrants treated in Israel.
The stream of migrants began as a trickle in 2005, when hundreds entered. As stories of their new lives spread, more came. Caught off guard, the government has imposed a hodgepodge of temporary measures.
Egypt allows Israel to turn back only those migrants caught along a limited section of the border.
Those who are not turned back are sent to a prison in southern Israel that can hold 2,000 inmates. Migrants are released when the prison becomes overcrowded — now, after about two months, though in the past, when the influx was lighter, they’d be held up to a year, Rozen said
After their release, they are not given permission to work, though the government so far has looked the other way when they take under-the-table jobs to survive.

How Your Taxes are Being Used by the Government to Produce Junk Food

Unhealthy Food Subsidization is Ruining Our Health

With rates of obesity, diabetes, and nearly every other major health problem rising each year, why has the United States decided to heavily subsidize junk food? Farmers around the country choosing to grow healthy crops like chard, broccoli, and spinach simply do not have the government funding that those growing massive amounts of corn and soy beans (of which above 90% of each are genetically modified) do. Does the U.S. government really think that fruits and vegetables are not as important as grains which are used mostly for processing harmful food items? It may be time for a policy change.

Between 1995 and 2010 over $260 billion was spent by American taxpayers in agricultural subsidies. Most of that money is put into commodity crops such as corn and soybeans, but the money is far less than well spent. While corn alone took in a whopping $77.1 billion from the government between 1995 and 2010, taxpayers spent $262 million subsidizing apples during the same time period. It just so happens that apples are really the only significant federal subsidy of fresh fruits and vegetables. In fact, if these agricultural subsidies went directly to consumers for the purchase of food, America’s 144 million taxpayers would each be given $7.36 to spend on junk food and only 11 cents to buy apples each year. This equates to about 19 Twinkies but less than a quarter of one healthy apple.

The U.S. government continues to be a major player in the national food business, with subsidies continuing to grow. The worst part is that the crops being subsidized are almost always genetically modified and pose a health risk to the environment and humankind.

Corn may be the crop utilized most poorly in the country. The corn being produced is actually specifically created for purposes of adding certain ingredients (many of which are toxic) into the food supply. One such ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, which has been found to contain mercury and cause cancer, and resides in many products such as ketchup, cereals, and beverages. Shockingly, it has nearly replaced sugar in all sodas and soft drinks.

Then there is corn starch, corn gluten meal, hydrolyzed corn protein, and corn syrup which can all be found in snacks like cookies. Lastly, corn is used to feed conventionally fed animals to prompt weight gain and hasten their slaughter weight. Unfortunately, these animals’ digestive systems are not meant to digest corn, causing the animals to be fed antibiotics.

In addition to corn lies soybeans, another crop heavily subsidized by the U.S. government. Today, the U.S. produces at least 75% of all soybeans grown worldwide, with an increase of about 10 million acres produced between 2007 and 2011. Total subsidies for soybeans between 1995 and 2010 totaled $24.3 billion, making it 3rd on the list of top products subsidized. Unfortunately this heavily subsidized crop is no less genetically modified than corn, with nearly 93% of US soybeans being genetically modified in order to resist powerful weed-killers.

These genetically modified crops pushed by the government are said to reduce pesticide usage and be completely safe according to U.S. government agencies. But more than enough evidence has shown these touted benefits to be false claims, and the heavily subsidized, genetically modified junk food pushed on the population has only been shown to be a threat to your health.

Americans Fear Big Government

Americans’ fear of big government – partly fueled by a sharp spike among Democrats since President Barack Obama took office – almost reached a record high this year and is far greater than people’s concerns about big business and big labor, a new Gallup poll Monday shows.

An overwhelming 64 percent of people surveyed said big government was the biggest threat to the country, compared to just 26 percent who said big business is their gravest concern and 8 percent who picked big labor.

The all-time high for percentage of people who said big government was the biggest threat to the country was in 1999 and 2000, when 65 percent named it the country’s biggest menace.

A Decade After 9/11, Police Departments Are Increasingly Militarized

ldsgeek:

It’s a familiar storyline. In the 10 years since the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, the government has claimed a number of new policing powers in the name of protecting the country from terrorism, often at the expense of civil liberties. But once claimed, those powers are overwhelmingly used in the war on drugs. Nowhere is this more clear than in the continuing militarization of America’s police departments.
