It’s time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We’ve reached a certain point, but we’re not moving any more.

Music at its best…is the grand archeology into and transfiguration of our guttural cry, the great human effort to grasp in time our deepest passions and yearnings as prisoners of time. Profound music leads us—beyond language—to the dark roots of our scream and the celestial
heights of our silence.

At certain times, a silent mind is very important, but ‘silent’ does not mean closed. The silent mind is an alert, awakened mind; a mind seeking the nature of reality.

Our problem is that inside us there’s a mind going, “Impossible, Impossible, Impossible. I can’t, I can’t, I can’t.” We have to banish that mind from this solar system. Anything is possible; everything is possible. Sometimes you feel that your dreams are impossible, but they’re not. Human beings have great potential; they can do anything. The power of the mind is incredible, limitless.

Suffering originates from various causes and conditions. But the root cause of our pain and suffering lies in our own ignorant and undisciplined state of mind. The happiness we seek can be attained only through the purification of our minds.

From what is dear, grief is born, from what is dear, fear is born. For someone freed from what is dear, there is no grief, so why fear?

From what is loved, grief is born, from what is loved, fear is born.
For someone freed from what is loved, there is no grief, so why fear?

From delight, grief is born, from delight, fear is born. For someone freed from delight there is no grief, so why fear?

From sensuality, grief is born, from sensuality, fear is born. For someone freed from sensuality there is no grief, so why fear?

From craving, grief is born, from craving, fear is born. For someone freed from craving there is no grief so why fear?

Do you realize the potential of what the cosmos has to offer us? I suppose its far beyond human comprehension but do you sense its vast oceans of small atoms and molecules coming all together and creating such rare beautiful existing beings like yourself? Ever since humans has embarked upon this earth we have discovered more and more about the origins of where we came from and that the comsos is consciousness within ourselves.

It is as though you have an eye that sees all forms, but does not see itself. This is how your mind is. Its light penetrates everywhere and engulfs everything. So why does it not know itself?

Good and Evil have no self nature; holy and unholy are empty names; In front of the door is the land of stillness and quiet; spring comes, grass grows by itself.

In the space which thought creates around itself there is no love. This space divides man from man, and in it is all the becoming, the battle of life, the agony and fear. Meditation is the ending of this space, the ending of the me.

The thought manifests the word; The word manifests the deed; The deed develops into habit; And habit hardens into character; So watch the thought and its ways with care, and let them spring forth from love born out of compassion for all beings. As the shadow follows the body, as we think, so we become.

Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. It means never having to play it cool about how much you like something. It’s basically a license to proudly emote on a somewhat childish level rather than behave like a supposed adult. Being a geek is extremely liberating.

If a hundred people sleep and dream, each of them will experience a different world in his dream. Everyone’s dream might be said to be true, but it would be meaningless to ascertain that only one person’s dream was the true world and all others were fallacies. There is truth for each perceiver according to the karmic patterns conditioning his perceptions.

It has often intrigued me how some Buddhist masters I know ask one simple question of people who approach them for teaching: “Do you believe in a life after this one?” They are not being asked whether they believe in it as a philosophical proposition but whether they feel it deeply in their hearts. The master knows that if a man believes in a life after this one, his whole outlook on life will be different, and he will have a distinct sense of personal responsibility and morality. What the masters must suspect is that there is a danger that people who have no strong belief in a life after this one will create a society fixated on short-term results, without much thought for the consequences of their actions. Could this be the major reason why we have created a world like the one we are now living in, a world with hardly any real compassion?
